💡 Interested in participating in the LudoNarraCon 2026 Steam Festival? 👀 Here’s an overview of ways to get involved in the festival!
</aside>
- LudoNarraCon is a digital festival focused on celebrating narrative games and has been running since 2019, annually attracting over 1 million unique visitors to the Steam page.
- The festival focuses on narrative-centric titles from small to mid-sized teams from around the world. If your title doesn’t have a strong narrative emphasis, it’s probably not a fit, sorry!
- As the festival is hosted on Steam, we’re only able to feature games that at least have an ‘Upcoming’ page live on Steam by the time LudoNarraCon kicks-off.
- While we don’t have a strict guideline of how often developers can participate in LudoNarraCon, we encourage developers that are less than a year out from release OR already have released their titles to submit.
- The event consists of a games line-up with playable demos, a narrative games sale with discounts, and a two day livestream line-up featuring panels, fireside chats and more, covering topics from all across the narrative space, with an emphasis on being accessible & interesting to consumers.
- The event is organized by narrative games publisher Fellow Traveller: https://www.fellowtraveller.games/.
- Participation is free, the line-up is curated. Submitting your game for consideration doesn’t guarantee a spot in the final line-up.

Participating with a Game
Our Official Selection
- A selection of ~50 games, that either released since the last LudoNarraCon event or are releasing in the 12-18 months following the current LudoNarraCon.
- We require upcoming games to have a consumer-facing demo live during the event.
- Released titles are required to participate in our narrative games sale for the duration of the festival (with rare exceptions made for games that are launching too close to the festival to be able to discount).
- Livestreaming to your Steam page isn’t required, but encouraged. Interesting content may be additionally featured.
Our Narrative Games Sale
- Between 150-200 games that are released or will have released by the time of the festival.
- The only requirement is for your title to be discounted for the sales period, which extends beyond our core event days: October 8-15, 2026.
Where does my game get featured?
For reference, here’s last year’s event page: https://store.steampowered.com/sale/ludonarracon. You’ll find that our ‘Official Selection’ of titles is highlighted front and center on our main ‘Home’ tab of the event page. Additionally, any game from our official selection that has a demo live, will be highlighted on our ‘Demos’ tab.
Within our ‘Sale’ tab, you’ll find all titles - no matter if ‘Official Selection’ or only submitted & accepted into the narrative games sale - that have an active discount live during LudoNarraCon. Please note that both the sale & official selection line-up are curated - inclusion isn’t guaranteed.
Additionally, if you become one of our speakers, your game(s) will also be highlighted within their own section as ‘Games from our Speakers’ within our ‘Theatre’ tab.

💡
TL.DR.: There’s many ways to get your games involved, but providing a demo and/or discount, and being accepted into our ‘Official Selection’ will bring you the most visibility throughout LudoNarraCon.

In terms of social media & press promotion, we do have an emphasis on our ‘Official Selection’, but will ensure that games featured solely in our sale will get visibility across our channels as well.
